Is living off of trend trading possible? Generally, the answer will be yes, but don’t quit your regular job without taking these things into account.

You must first determine how you define a ” making a living”. Perhaps you are satisfied with k per year, or perhaps you are looking to bring in millions of dollars.

The second thing to think about is how much you can and are willing to invest. You will make more money, if you invest more money. Therefore, the higher  your yearly income will become.

All investments involve risk, so you have to be willing to lose it all. To make a profit is the goal and its not possible to everyone to achieve the same.

Consider your devotion to tracking trends. If you are new, you might have to go to seminars, read books, speak with fellow investors, or locate other information sources. You’re more likely to succeed if you know more, as with anything.

Even novice investors can understand the market flow and make money with the computer applications now available. But the software costs money and, of course, learning how to use it takes time. There’s one more thing for you to think about.

If you’ve got money to invest, you may begin trading without having to quit your regular job. As this is an entirely different entity from day-trading, constant supervision is not a necessity.

When following trends, we may hold a position for months to years. People generally have the job from about three to six months.

Trading successfully takes time but you need not sit 24 hours a day in front of a computer screen. The most successful of investors often can manage their trades in a very short given period of time in twenty four hours.

So, it does not interrupt their job or spare time activities. With technology what it is you can make a trade with cell phone signal.

There are many more exciting things to do then trend trade. As a matter of fact, the most successful investors don’t bring their feelings into it. It can be intimidating to make money by trading peaks and valleys.

Holding a thing without selling is the last thing to be considered. You may be a little insecure about going it without steady job, and that’s no problem. It’s a part-time job, trend trading, anyhow.
